Florida: 1513 – 2013 features a series of vignettes highlighting some of the changes wrought in Florida over half a millennium. The exhibit showcases items from the collections of the P.K. Testimony

Testimony showcases primary sources that bear undeniable witness to the Holocaust. Featuring the last letters from victims of the Nazi terror before they were murdered, the autobiography of a concentration camp survivor, photographs of the camps in 1945, memoirs produced by survivors, and artistic responses to the Holocaust. Curated by Rebecca Jefferson.

ARTBOUND is an annual, juried exhibition at the Smathers Libraries featuring contemporary artists’ books by undergraduate and graduate students in book arts and/or fine arts programs across the United States. Featuring materials from the Penny and Sol Davidson Collection, The Pre-History of the Comic Book documents the emergence of the modern comic-book from 1885 – 1934. Curated by John Van Hook and Colleen Seale.

Memory and Landscape: Collegiate Gothic Architecture and the New University

The Collegiate Gothic style of architecture chosen for UF furthered the goals of university president Albert Murphree and the Board of Control while emphasizing the ties to older traditions. The environment envisioned by the campus planners helped provide the continuities of memory, meaning, and judgment. These remnants of the past became an integral part of the process of making a history and providing a context for the university. Curated by Peggy McBride.
